Monkworks Homes Mod for Fallout 3 (MHM)

This mods purpose: is to enhance game-play by adding a customizable player home system. Technically the Mod adds 14 player properties to the Fallout 3 environment (The Wasteland). MHM is a broad-enough homes mod to scale as the player develops though the game world. The homes all vary in class\price, size and possible upgrades. Each place could have 20 or so upgrades for example. If you would like to add 3 lockers and a Gun Rack to your home. Then you simply buy the upgrades from the home terminal and the system will spawn those containers in your home. When the time comes and you would like to sell your property. The terminal will sell the place and return all money's spent on upgrades inducing the base value the player initially paid. This is an investment and you can carry this forward as you progress through the game. I personally found I had a great wealth of caps..yet not much to spend that on as I played through. Having a variety of properties to purchase and customize lets you have fun spending your wealth yet providing higher quality and desirable classes of homes for you to sell "move up to"… giving the player further content past completing the main story line. Giving reasons for adventure- to generate wealth so you can upgrade your home.

Why Should I have a home as I play through Fallout 3?

The advantage of having a MHM home when playing through Fallout 3: is creating a personal space to enjoy collecting and hording loot. Making Item displays to show off your adventures. Organizing your gear and equipment. Some of the upgrades like the infirmary or Lab Set (just to name a few) could be considered a must for survival as you adventure through the Wasteland. Buying a property locally to where you maybe adventuring for some time will give you the advantage of being close by. Higher class property will allow you to upgrade them so they appear on the world map also let you to fast travel from within your home for convenience. if your playing through the game for a 2nd or 3rd time these homes could add allot to the experience. If you'er playing through for the first time this mod is a must to get the most out of the game world.

What is a Property Class?

MHM adds 14 areas (homes) to the game world. These homes very in class: Entry level property, Lair level property, Base level property.
(ELP) Class:Domicile
(LLP) Class: Lair
(BLP) Class: Base
These home Classes all have their own price points and upgrade systems. ELP -the cheapest usually pricing under 3000 Caps. LLP Mid-ranged 10-50 thousand Caps. Base accusations will required 50-75 thousand Caps and old world money or quests. LLP upgrades are more customizable and geared for displays; for example an ELP home will offer a Gun Rack upgrade where as the LLP offers a "munitions and Gun Cage." The Base property offers "focused Gun Cage" Like the "Sniper - Munition Cage." LLP and BLP include content to upgrade your home further than you ever could with ELP.

The Mod will be available before the end of June.
The current state of the Mod: All areas have been built-out and optimized (multi bounds, Nav mesh). The CDTS system (scripts& objects) are all in place and functional. I continue to optimize the system and sometimes discover new ways of doing things..then I have to work backward on these corrections..Most of the work left is adding the homes features and making sure each place is polished. I would be happy to let that go out as a beta… but i want to finish the entire project. There is a grind of work to do for each home. The bunker I just finished took some time to complete in the end it has over 60 upgrades. Lighting, sound , effects…. tricking out the place with CDTS and including cool functionality is very time consuming and fun. I need about three more months.
